Our welding services include two main areas:
Repair of defects in cast iron castings
When visual or technical defects (pores, cracks, unevenness) are found in customer-supplied castings, we can professionally weld them without the need for remelting the entire part.
This method allows clients to save 50–90% of costs compared to producing a new casting, while keeping production deadlines intact.
Welding cast iron parts with other metals
After grinding and surface treatment, we can use cast iron parts as blanks and weld them to structures made of other materials — for example, steel.
This allows the creation of hybrid components and finished products combining different metals, which can then be further processed on CNC machines or used in final assembly.
Professional approach and welding quality control
All welding work is performed according to WPS instructions and technological standards, ensuring high quality and material compatibility.
Our welders are certified according to EN ISO 9606-1, confirming their competence in working with various metals and welding methods.
MetPro provides all main welding types:
- MIG/MAG (gas-shielded welding)
- MMA (manual arc welding with electrodes)
- TIG (tungsten inert gas welding)
- Spot welding
- SAW (submerged arc welding for large parts)
MetPro guarantees high-quality and precise welding with reliable results for every project — from prototypes to serial production.
