Scope: Installation of facade and glazing, sandwich panels, wall profiles, decorative facade elements (anodized aluminium), complete installation of interior wall systems and glazing.
About the museum: The new Munch Museum is built as a vertical museum, organizing key functions across height. The design maximizes views of the fjord, bringing it into the interior. The 12-storey building sits atop a 3-storey base housing public services.
The ground floor will house various public services. The vertical structure will contain exhibition areas, workshops, storage spaces, and offices. The new Munch Museum will serve as a counterpoint to the surrounding buildings, particularly the horizontally oriented Opera House. It is designed with a glass-dominated exterior to integrate the surrounding fjord landscape into the interior spaces.
